MMCOG has made a presence in the 20th Asia Oil & Gas Conference, organised by International Conference & Exhibition Professionals (iCEP) which commences on June 24th and 25th at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia.
The theme of AOGC 2019 this year is “Forging A New Energy Future” and the subjects for discussion is mainly focusing on reflecting current industry concerns, the conference also has direct its attention to the shift in the global energy landscape, “especially in terms of increasing the cleaner sources of energy including renewable energy sources”, according to AOGC 2019 Conference Chairman Mohd Yusri Mohamed Yusof (Vice President of Refining & Trading, Petronas).
The event was enlivened on our parts, with more than 200 visitors received as well as signage of our collaboration with KBR Consulting (formerly known as Granherne KBR) that is a global oil & gas company with presence all around the world. KBR is an international renowned company with expertise and capabilities in engineering primarily in Feasibility Studies and Concept Select.
This year throughout AOGC 2019, participants has received more quality and abundance networking opportunities through the exhibition & social events such as the Network Reception, PETRONAS Welcome Reception and AOGC Golf Event. On the exhibition front, there were 80 companies from around the world that has participated this prestigious event.
“There will also be a focus on the use of technology and how the industry can be decarbonised together with maximising the value of oil & gas output”, added Mohd Yusri. For the grand opening of AOGC 2019, Malaysia’s Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been accompanied by Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin (President & Group Chief Executive Officer, PETRONAS).
