MMC O&G is able to offer a strong Electrical/Instrumentation team, with wide experience, both locally and internationally, in the petrochemical, oil and gas industries.

Particular areas of expertise include:

• Design and specification of generators, motor control centres, switchboards, power distribution networks
• Specification of electrical equipment for use in hazardous areas
• Design and specification of safety related systems, including emergency shutdown and fire and gas detection systems
• Design and specification of distributed control system and programmable logic controllers, including graphic operator interface
• Design and specification of general pneumatic and electronic measurement and control instrumentation
• Design and specification of building services

As with other disciplines extensive use of computerized design systems is a feature of the Electrical and Instrumentation groups work.
