Project Details

Kinabalu field is located 55km west-northwest of Labuan and 27km southwest of Semarang field in water depth of 54m. Kinabalu field is being produced via the Kinabalu Complex which consists of KNDP-A and KNDW-D.

KNDP-A is an unmanned platform consists of 20-slots drilling bay with topsides partial stabilization oil and gas processing facilities which was installed in 1998. While KNDW-D is a installed minimum facilities drilling wellhead platform and bridge linked to KNDP-A.

FWS from production wells in KNDW-D are sent to KNDP-A and being processed together with FWS from production wells in KNDP-A before being exported to the PCSB Samarang-A Production Platform (“SMG-A”) via a 12″ crude and 14″ gas subsea pipeline.

In order to maximize the field production and preventing continuous laring, overall topsides facilities are debottlenecked in this work.

Purpose of contract are:

  1. To define the requirements and scope of work for detailed design works that are expected to be done by the contractor for 2019 Infill Drilling Flowline Project. All wells will be drilled using spare slots on KNDW-D. Scope for Water Injection Wells ESP surface facilities is excluded from this SOR.
  2. To define requirements and scope of work FEED of LP compressor upgrade i.e. sub-scope of Ph II Kinabalu Debottlenecking Project.
  3. To define the requirements and scope of work for detailed engineering works for installation of LP compressor upgrade. Scope of works that are directly related to LP Compression System modification are excluded in this SOR.
