Project Details

The project was awarded by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) in July 2003 for the Detailed Design services of three (3) platforms which is located approximately 25 km offshore Lutong, Sarawak. It comprises Compression & Production Platform (BAKP-B), Wellhead Platform (BAJT-H) and Wellhead Platform (BAJT-I), as well as the associated Pipelines tie-ins to the existing BAK-B and BAP-B platforms.

The project was awarded by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) to MMC Oil & Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd in July 2003 for the Detailed Design services of three (3) platforms which is located approximately 25 km offshore Lutong, Sarawak. It comprises Compression & Production Platform (BAKP-B), Wellhead Platform (BAJT-H) and Wellhead Platform (BAJT-I), as well as the associated Pipelines tie-ins to the existing BAK-B and BAP-B platforms. BAJT-I is linked to BAJT-H via 10″ multiphase pipeline/6″ gaslift pipeline. While, BAJT-H is linked to BAKP-B via another separate multiphase/ gaslift pipeline for processing facilities at BAKP-B. A temporary 16-man shelter is located at BAKP-B. Detailed Design was completed in May’04, with AFC drawings finalized in October’04.

• 6-legged structure for BAKP-B, 4-legged structure for BAJT-H & BAJT-I
• Designed to produce 160 MMscfd of export gas and 55 MMscfd lift gas
• Designed for 25,000 bpd crude oil production
• Designed to SIPROD mode of operation and catering to jackup & rigup conditions.

• Platform is expected to be in operation by 4th Quarter 2005.
