PETRONAS has awarded a Small Field Risk Service Contract (SFRSC) to Ophir Production Sdn Bhd (OPSB) for the development and production of petroleum from the Ophir field, located offshore Peninsular Malaysia. OPSB is a joint venture company between Octanex Pte Ltd, Scomi D&P Sdn Bhd and VESTIGO Petroleum Sdn Bhd.

The Ophir field is situated within the North eastern part of Block PM-315, offshore the Malaysian Peninsula about 210km Northeast of Kerteh in approximately 73m water depth. The development concept is shown in Figure 2 below. It is comprised: of a Wellhead Platform (WHP) an FPSO. Note: The FPSO and pipeline are to be supplied by others and shall not form part of this Invitation to Bid (ITB).
