Project Details

Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) has the opportunity to further develop the Sepat oil field with focus on the oil reservoirs. The development plan will henceforth be referred to as Sepat Redevelopment Project. 42 Oil Producers, 8 Gas Injections and 2 Gas Producers are planned to be drilled for this development. The development is expected to achieve 1st oil in Q4 2025.

The development concept selected for the project is based on a concurrent development which consist of the following facilities:

a) Liquid processing from satellite wellhead platforms shall be evacuated to one new Centralized Processing Platform (CPP) for Sepat A. Full hydrocarbon stabilization will be done at CPP with capacity of 35,000 blpd with gas injection and gas lift facilities.

b) Stabilize crude from CPP shall be evacuated to one (1) new Floating, Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessel. Crude transfer/ lifting to be done via ship to ship method.

c) One (1) new Topside with new 12-slot at existing Sepat-A platform.

d) One (1) new satellite Wellhead Platform (WHP) for Sepat-B.

e) One (1) new satellite Wellhead Platform (WHP) for Sepat-C

f) Intra-field pipelines:

• Three (3) Full Well Stream (FWS) from Sepat-A WHP, Sepat-B WHP and Sepat-C WHP to Sepat-A CPP

• Gas Lift (GL) pipeline from Sepat-A CPP to Sepat-A WHP, SepatB WHP and Sepat-C WHP

• Four (4) submarine power and instrument cable from Sepat-A CPP to SepatA WHP, Sepat-B WHP, Sepat-C WHP and FSO

• One (1) Stabilized Crude pipeline from Sepat-A CPP to FSO

MMCOG was awarded to undertake Basic Engineering Design (BED) services for the above development concept.
