MMCOG worked with Saipem Sapura Kencana for the Kasawari Gas Development Project entailing the main objectives of WHP ready for Rig (RFR ) as well as First Gas Date (FGD) within 15 to 33 months from effective date.
The Kasawari gas field was discovered in November 2011 within a water depth of approximately
108m at the center.
The Kasawari Field is located in Block SK316 within the Central Luconia Province (See Figure 1 below),
approximately 200km North of Bintulu, Sarawak – Malaysia. The Kasawari gas field was discovered

As shown in the figure 2 above, MMCOG’s role was to provide engineering design for the facilities of Kasawari which include:
- Central Processing platform (CPP) – 8-legged
- 9-slot Wellhead platform (WHP) – 4-legged
- Flare structures – tripod
- Bridges (CPP to WHP and CPP to Flare structure)
- Client Saipem SapuraKencana
- Project Location Malaysia
