PETRONAS Carigali is undertaking an Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Technology Pilot Testing Project named Field Trial of Super Surfactant and Polymer for Enhanced Water Alternate Gas (EWAG) project at Dulang Field.

The Field Trial is planned for 3Q 2018. A Field Trial is proposed to be carried out on the top deck of Dulang-D satellite platform, 7.4km away from main platform in order to support the well candidate selection.

The objective of the Field Trial are to validate super chemicals lab data: Surfactant Foam & Polymer performance, to acquire Field Trial results for full-field study and to obtain the operation knowhow on the surfactant and polymer.

The equipment and chemical tanks will be transferred to the top deck. The EWAG FACILITIES required for the Field Trial will be installed, commissioned & operated for the Field Trial includes all related equipment, piping & fittings, supports, equipment stools, cable trays. Upon completion of the Field Trial, the EWAG FACILITIES will be decommissioned & removed. Platform facilities removed prior to the start of the Field Trial shall be reinstated.

The engineering services will cover the equipment selection, transportation, installation, operation and reinstatement to the original condition. Completion of the Detailed Engineering Design of the EWAG FACILITIES shall include incorporation of VENDOR data and preparation of As-Built DRAWINGS and final documentation and other necessary engineering analysis, follow-on engineering from the completion of detailed engineering design until COMMISSIONING and completion of EWAG FACILITIES.
