Bunga Pakma Conceptual & Front End Engineering Design (FEED) & Associated Tie-Ins

Talisman has awarded MMCOG for the development of the conceptual and front end engineering design  of BPA minimum facilities platform for the drilling of 6 initial gas wells with potential of up to 12 future wells. During the beginning of the project, Pakma comprised North Bunga Pakma and Bunga Pakma fields (refer to figure 1 below), which are located approximately 10km from BOA  CPP.

The integral scope of works completed by MMCOG are:

  • Topsides facilities designed accordingly and a pipeline transported process fluids in 3 phase wet gas opeartion to BO-D, with the pipeline diameter being determined by the production profile
  • Installation of the pipeline, substructure and topsides is envisaged to be carried out by an appropriately sized combination pipe lay / heavy lift barge.
  • Modifications required at the BO-D to receive the new pipeline comprising new riser and clamps, pig receiver along with topsides piping, electrical and instrument tie-ins to gas production and utilities systems.
