Detailed Design Engineering Services For EPCC Of J4 Development Project

Project Details

Project Overview :

J4 field are located 53 km West of the existing D35 oil and gas production facilities (D35 Complex) respectively. The water depth for J4 is 53.6 m. J4 field has a 41 o API oil with potential recovery of 15.9 MMbbl.

Full Well Stream production from J4 will be sent to D35 for processing. Processed crude will be exported to the Bintulu Crude Oil Terminal (BCOT) via Bayan and Temana. Gas will be exported to the Malaysia Liquid Natural Gas (MLNG) plant via the Bayan platform. Provisions for future gaslift pipeline from D35 will also be provided.

J4 will be 4-legged structures and can accommodate up to 12 wellhead slots (10 well slots with dual completion + 2 well slot of single completion). A power generation system using Microturbine Generator Set will be utilised to supply the electrical power required for control and shutdown of the facilities and provide communications. Well test measurement will be carried out using a Multiphase Flowmeter (MPFM) meter installed on the platform.

Scope Of Work:

MMC O&G scope of services consists of the following:

• Review, verify and update FEED Package.

• Review, verify and update the DBM.

• Conduct detailed design for J4DP-A Development Project, host tie-ins, including all modifications required at D35 COMPLEX (D35 host tie-ins activity is included in J4 DP-A Topsides Contractor scope of work).

• Prepare Detail Engineering Design Closed-Out Report. The report should also highlight the modifications, upgrading and other activities required for the project.

• Preparation of project documentation in paper and software copies at review and final issues.

• To conduct Final Design Documentation.

• To provide Engineering Project QA services including Quality Assurance Plan, QA Checks and Audits.

• Produce As-Built documents as appropriate.

• To develop Start-up and Operating Manual with the scopes listed in CTR (Topsides packages only).

• Interfaces with the Third Parties.

• Update FEED Database such as line list, master equipment list, valve list, instrument index, loop diagrams, junction box, wiring diagrams, I/O list, hook up drawings, instrument MTO, etc (as appropriate).

• Provide assistance to Fabrication Yard (i.e. technical queries etc.).

• Provide interface coordination between all parties involved in the project.
