Technical Description : The compilation of GuE Buttlist items started in December 2007 after demobilization of Sime Darby Engineering (SDE) site team. There was an original of 102 butt list items inclusive of 21 items, rolled over from SDE punch list to buttlist. There were some scopes completed last year and to date there are still 63 outstanding buttlist items consists of structural, mechanical / piping and electrical / instrumentation. Out of these 63 buttlist items, 171 numbers of datasheets and drawings are required. So far, there were only 84 out of 171 datasheets and drawings were completed

The scope of work required to be done by MMC Oil & Gas Engineering Services Sdn Bhd are as follows:

1. Structural Detail Design of the following buttlist items:
a. BM-001/012
  • To extend the existing GUE Crane Sheath Maintenance Platform
  • To add swivel davit with capacity of 200lbs at the edge of Sheave Maintenance Platform deck. (by Structural)
b. BM-019
  • To fabricate and install work access platform at Guntong D Compression for the access of Isolation Ball Valve on the back-up fire water supply line to Guntong D from Guntong E.
c. BM-025
  • To install additional/modified service platforms at vessels
d. BM-030
  • To modify firewall between each firewater pump and the attached pipe supports to make them removable for access during removal of the firewater pump engine.
2. FEED and Detail Design:-
a. BM-003
  • Modifications required to provide access for tube bundle removal for fuel and seal gas superheaters and fuel gas heat exchanges: includes piping rerouting, shutdown valve actuator relocation, cable tray relocation, deck extensions (north and west sides), and instruments stands relocation.
b. BM-010
  • To propose design modification in order to condition back-up fuel gas & seal gas.
