Provision of Facilities Design Engineering Support Services ( Call-Off Contract ) for Petrofac Malaysia

Petrofac (Malaysia-PM304) Limited, hereinafter referred to as COMPANY, in partnership with Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB), Kuwaiti Foreign Petroleum Exploration Co (Kufpec), and PetroVietnam Investment Development Company (PIDC) intends to carry out enhancements to facilities within the currently producing PM-304 PSC block and Berantai RSC. These enhancements include Asset Improvement Projects, Engineering studies, Rectification works, and other ad-hoc enhancement projects as necessary. Block PM 304 (which includes the Cendor and West Desaru fields), and the Berantai field, lie in the Malaysian sector of the South China Sea. The fields lie in water depth of
approximately 65 meters, 140 km east from Kerteh, a town situated on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The PM304 Block is shown in Figure 1.1

The Cendor Field Phase 1 development, commenced oil production in September 2006 using an early production system Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU), and an FSO (floating storage and offloading vessel). Currently Cendor Phase 2 development is underway which consists of CDW-A, B & C wellhead platforms tied into Cendor Phase 2 FPSO. Figure 1.2 below indicates the new facilities in the field. The Cendor Phase 1 MOPU and FSO will be demobilized before the end of 2014, leaving the permanent Phase 2 facilities as the infrastructure in place for Cendor production operations.
